Located in Vancouver's Chinatown, it is the first full-scale classical garden constructed outside of China.
Construction began March 1985 by a team of 52 experts from Suzhou and lasted for a year. Total price was 5.3 million CAD. June 2004, the new wing with the Hall of One Hundred Rivers was opened.
