Loved it! Nice composition and timing. Would love to hear your workflow and technique for the post tilt/shift effect. Nicely done!

thanks Thaddues, the tilt/shift workflow is nothing fancy. I used a photoshop batch action with quickmask/linear gradient/lens blur, and some shadow/highlight adjustment. I checked out some of your footage, beautiful stuff!

Awesome!!! i love it! and the music is perfect! cant remember off the top of my head who it is, god is an astronaut? Mogwai? explosions in the sky? this will destroy you? im going to start adding track from those guys to my timelapse vids once i get around to putting one together. again, very nice work!

Your videos are amazing!! This is no exception! Perfect soundtracks! They really set the mood. You should check out The American Dollar, they have that same kind of sound. Check out their cd Atlas, it's my personal favorite! I think they would go really well with these time lapse videos.. I actually think that's how I found them!

This is amazing!! 2 questions; I'm just starting to get into photography, but was your computer connected to your camera during shooting with software recording all the shots, or did everything go onto SD cards? Also, what lens are you using during the Dinosaur shot?

Great piece, even in the Houston 90 degree heat and 90% humidity I can still feel the cold and ice as I used to travel around that area and photograph so many years ago. Thanks!

wow man, I would be so chuffed to capture a scene like any of the shots in here!
I've watched a few of your timelapses and am so impressed. You've inspired me to attempt to attach a motor to my DIY glide rail I made last week, your pans are the icing on the cake!

Very nice video. What's the title of the music??

  • I can't believe they didn't chase you off the top of the parking garage. I went up there a couple years ago to get Mercury and the top of the Times Square Building in a still photo and they were all over me.
