All HD is encoded as 24p by Vimeo. For PAL frame rates, a frame is dropped each second. If you have Final Cut Studio, Compressor will encode at 24p and slow down the soundtrack with changing its pitch.

Nice work, I love the difference in the two halfs and the great epic shots.

It might be a bit long on the second half, especially after the first half, concider trimming that a bit because you start off very pushy and loud, and then turn so quiet and that just simmers on a bit.

Great shoot. May one day try the Letus after seeing your stuff and Phillip Bloom's shoots.

How many different combnation of lens did you use? Any PP you use. Philip shared one of his and it's nice stuff.

Amazing, stunning shots that really portrayed the beauty of the city and the color of the environment. Excellent job!
My favorite shots were the one that focused on the ropes instead of the man and the one of the empty picnic table with the moving clouds above. Thanks for sharing!

Really amazing. I'm actually a little suprised how far the footage from the EX1 could be pushed. This is the 35mbs data rate Codec yes?
What program for CC? Final Cut\\Color\\AE?
    (vignetting blur added as well?)

Everything is immaculate by the way. congrats

The music is from our own, and very talented Beneyes he writes all the music for our films (some exceptions)
google him or take a look at our web site greenjelly.at to find out more, he's the dogs bollocks.

Love the look of this. Was this shot with a 35mm adaptor? The picture quality is very good.

  •
  • Schräs 1 year ago
i love the colors, did you grade and with what?
    i liked the country-side the most, that 2.28-shot is great;
if this is shot with no adapter, then theres nearly no need for one...:-)
  •
  • Bryan McKay 1 year ago
How much post-processing did you do on the images? The color grading looks fabulous. It looks like there might be some selective focus going on to which I assume you did in post, yes?
  •
  • greenjelly film plus 1 year ago
Selective focus in post which to be honest i dont like, and is one of the flaws in the film. It is heavily graded using magic bullet and im actually using the cineform codec which i believe allows for more room in post. the letus is the dogs, its not just about DOF it gives the image a more organic look-but you need good lenses.(this is without the letus).

  • Incredible. It would take most people (myself included) a month to shoot that much good footage.

Really nice work. Did you use a Red Rock? Your depth of field is really shallow on some of those shots. Beautiful. Great overcranking too. Didn't know the EX1 was able to do it.

Might as well be an ad for the EX-1, stunning results. Of course it only starts with the camera, you need a good operator and a good editor. Nice.

Thank you for putting this up, I really liked the London / countryside juxtaposition it had, it was inspiring.

May I suggest an edit where London / countryside shots are merged to further emphasize the sheer differences?

    All the best,

love this, looks solid, strong colors and FINALLY people..i hate to see footage with no people in it. makes sense that the first clips are fast and edgy as it is the city. then it chills down as we would when we go from the city to the country. love it. again solid colors black blacks. great.
