Which train? Last weekend I rode back and forth and the revelers were drinking 40s of Bud Light, talking loud. We needed a more sophisticate scene.

That's our train. I think the name (BNSF- Burlington Northern Santa Fe) is based on the train company that owned it originally.
I also ride the Elburn line sometimes.

if you take the metra from union station during evening rush hour, you can buy beer from the bar stations near the magazine stand.

You would SO get ticketed and booted off the Metro in L.A. if not taken off to jail AFTER getting tasered, if you popped a bottle of cha! on the train--is it open bottle policy on the Metra in Chi town??

Cool effects, a bit long (I think I had a birthday during this vid) and personally, I like hearing even the faintest of sounds from the actual audio track when fitting and/or possible.

Yeah, I know it's long but I loved all of the footage I shot and didn't know what to edit out. The audio was nothing but a large crowd of people babbling and you couldn't make out what anyone was saying so I didn't put much of that in the vid. The conductor was cool about the champagne party because this group does the same trip to Greek Town every year (for 20 years!)

Good call on the audio. Ironically, I am uploading a vid right now, where I had to leave out the native audio for the same reason, however, just to be a clever guy, I left it on during the last sequence.
I like traditions, I have a few of them myself, one coming on year 10, as a matter of fact. Yeh, that definitely looks like fun.
