Las palabras de Abígail Mendoza en su lengua materna, el zapoteco del valle, nos comparten la importancía que tiene para los oaxaqueños 'El Maíz' su trancendencia en las generaciones de oaxaqueños de ayer, hoy y siempre.

El documental fue presentado ante la sede de la UNESCO en París, en la solicitud por parte de la Secretaría de Cultura del stado de Oaxaca, para que se le otorgue a la comida oaxaqueña la distinción de 'Patrimonio Intangible de la Humanidad'.


With Abigail Mendoza's words in her native language, Zapotec of the Valley, she share the transcendence and importance to the people of Oaxaca that has ‘The Corn’, from the generations of yesterday, today and forever of Oaxaca.

The documentary was presented at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris as part of the application form of the Ministry of Culture of Oaxaca, for the Oaxaca food to be granted with the distinction of 'Intangible Heritage of Humanity'.
