Call it a love letter to my hooping; I heard this song and needed right away to hoop to it.

At midnight.

I gathered up my hoops and camera and hit up every well-lit parking lot in the Mid-Cities, hooping to this song once or twice in each one, then skedaddling before anyone got weirded too far out.

I was only asked what I was doing once. I lied like a rug and said I was an art student doing a project. Then I fled.

It is only very recently that I have begun to accept myself as a pretty good hoopdancer, and I wanted to make a video that reflected how much I love myself and my hooping. I hope it comes across.
