After three days of seemingly endless rain, periodically punctuated by torrential downpours, the skies brightened early Wednesday, and the second of the three Woodbridge N.J. Main Street Cruise Nights, went off as scheduled.
In addition to clear skies, the humidity was down, and the turnout of participants, substantial to say the least. The Main drag in town where the Cruise Night is held, was closed to regular traffic by no later than 5:30 P.M., and the event went on until its scheduled ending time of 9:00 P.M.
Among the participant crowd, was a favorite of this writer from the June Cruise Night, a replica of an early 1900's Curved Dash Oldsmobile. There were also a number of Corvettes, plus the usual assortment of Hotrods, Streetrods, and postwar (as in post WWII) vehicles. Yours truly won a Trophy for his 1960 Plymouth Savoy, and all in all, a pleasant evening was had by everyone in attendance.
