at first glance, little appears to be happening during this typical day at the beach.

however, look carefully at the waves as the sets increase in size. check out the many surfers (and some of the spectacular wipe-outs) in this five minute video, as well as the wide variety of wanderers and strollers (and their occasionally bizarre choice of wardrobe). there's an outrigger canoe regatta in the background, and, of course, the soothing sounds of the surf as it reaches the shore.
