Miri was hit by a freak storm yesterday (13/5/2008). The winds went up to 55 kph and took place between 8 till 9 pm. I took videos of my neighbours' roofs flying off into the air but it was too dark to see anything. However, you can still hear it happening. There was a jam in the inside roads because trees all along the main roads were falling over making driving dangerous.
