On July 20th 2014, the first ocean going cruise liner docked in the small port town of Warrenpoint. The ship, the Pearl Saga II, had just arrived having circumnavigated the Shetland Isles, the Faroes and Iceland. Warrenpoint was to be it's final stopover before it's return to England. It was a historic occasion for the town and thousands were drawn to it's scenic shoreline to watch the arrival and departure of the vessel and its 500 or so passengers.
