This is my first test with Hyper engine AV a free-ware mac editor.....using footage I shot whilst travelling on the bus...I found it to be quicker, more intuitive and ultimately a more creative tool than Imovie...its not perfect, but I can now at least superimpose video shots over each other, which can be seen in random bits of passing vehicle editing i played with. The audio is layered up over and over again, which again was easy and quick to do.

I like it and will test it out further..... any other users?
