This is a music video made in 2006 for Tourettes, originating from Sydney and later based in germany prior to the bands break up and Michele forming Meldrum.

This was my first time working with Michele who notably stars in my short film Frame 137, the clip was a complete labour of love, with a zero dollar budget, and just throwing ideas out there.

It was shot on my own XL1, using a 0.6 wide angle adapter lens that I mounted in a contraption of Mechano and wood to simulate the effect of a Tilt - Shift lens.

We also experimented with "undercranking" by filming the bands performance at a 1/6th shutter and having the band at quarter speed (to the slowed track) then speeding this up in post to create an insynch performance with a slightly eratic jerkyness.

I shot, directed, produced and edited the clip. (using Vegas)

Tourettes is unfortunately no longer together but you can check out Meldrum at their myspace with samples of some of their tracks from their EP "New Lifer".
