I shot this scene a few minutes after Capucine and Carla met for the first time. At first, Capucine was not very happy about this stranger wanting to lead the game right away.
But it took them less than half an hour to become friends. :)

i'm always impressed by children outside the US, as they seem to be so much more capable of self expression and proper language skills. seriously, this was a recent topic of discussion among some of my friends as well. our children are busy trying to speak hip-hop and their phrases are riddled with broken moments - "like" and "uh..." as if they're spaced out from high fructose corn syrup and wii games. (i loved this c.)

I have to say that Carla is a very good speaker for her age though, she's only two weeks older than Capucine and has a wider range of vocabulary. Also, french kids start school at 3, and I think this helps too.

They are too adorable. This brings back memories of having to learn 'Le Petite Chaperon Rouge' in school. I'm sure that these girls, although way younger, can say it much better than I can! haha.
