A Russian spaceship launched from Kazakhstan has successfully docked with the International Space Station.
The spacecraft, called Progress Fifty-Six, is delivering cargo and crew supplies to the ISS. The cargo spaceship was successful in docking nearly six hours after lift-off at the Baikonur Cosmo-drome in Kazakhstan. Progress Fifty-Six was packed with oxygen and water supplies plus spare parts and research hardware. The spacecraft is the second of four cargo ships expected to arrive at the International Space Station over the next two months.
