Twoneil on GZ-HD7 Test
Still waiting on a proper achromat and a step down ring before I can shoot properly. But here's a rough preview of what I'll be seeing through when the setup is complete. I used a x.46 macro lens and duct taped Neil's adapter to it to get focus. There's slight aberations on edges due to low quality macro convergence. But I like what I see! Compliments to Neil, he does a super slick work.
I got myself Canon EE-S focussing screen and is in between making my own 35mm when this arrived. Simply coz I have few Canon lens in hand since owning Canon SLRs. I want to be able to zoom in, even if so slightly, along with pull focus. Hope I can do it as clean as how Neil did!
Captured at 1960x1080i FHD
Indoor shoot: 1/500 f/1.9 on HD7 - f/1.8 on Nikon
Outdoor shoot: 1/1000 f/1.9 on HD7 - f/2.8 on Nikon
Edited and exported to Quicktime 720p with FCP

Thanks monso. Your clips are really well done too.
i was the same as vincent, when looking at the hv20/30 footage using this adaptor the often very noticable vignetting made the option basically prohibitive. If this is how it shoots witha makeshift attachement i am all in!
p.s. cute kid - what a wee pea!
