Trip to Point Lobos, California
I've never done any film work before or worked with any video editing software before. This is the first video of MY LIFE! Loads of fun though. Yes I realize its a bit shaky (I have no steadicam). I actually only had a monopod (don't ask me why I didnt get a tripod instead).
I would love some advice. I don't know where I am headed or what I am doing.
This is a spontaneous trip from Santa Cruz to Point Lobos. The music is dedicated to Tiago and the crab is to Rico because I like his stuff and tiago is brazilian and, well, so is the music (plus without his conversion tutorial I would have been lost).
Remember: I would love advice.
PS - that wasn't his sister.

Some technical thoughts.
'Look room' is a term for framing a persons head. You seem to have this pretty good naturally without mabey even realising it. Essentially it means to frame a persons head with more room on the side that the person is facing. This naturally gives the subject room in the frame to be 'looking' into and gives a more appealling, professional shot. Try this link out to a video tutorial on digital juice. Lots of info there to help compose shots professionally.

Lots of other good info on their site to give you tips for editing, planning, building dollies, lighting...any and everything related to video.
The best advice I could give....SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT. Practice makes perfect and is great fun. So enjoy your camera and keep up the good work.
I don't have a monopod yet - but it isn't that bad. A lot quicker to set up...good for where lots of people are stumbling around you and tripping over the tripod..
I loved especially the crab, it was so funny with the music :D Great job ! Makes me want to buy me a HD camera.
