Recorded with the hv20 and the raynox 7000-hd wideangle lens attached.

Edited with vegas 8.0: 24 fps encoding, saturation boost, 0.77% sharpening and gamma decrease.

Location was at the Rotterdam Zoo in the Netherlands

Awesome video dude, great results all around. I was just wondering how you go about encoding it into true 24 fps, I can't figure out how to remove pulldown from 29.97.

I have used vegas first to convert it to 60i and after that convert the 60i to blu ray 24p profile.

it removes the scanlines nicely

I have Vegas as well. When you import video into Vegas it is imported as 60i correct? What do you use to encode it into 24p though?

first i make it an 60i m2t file with vegas, so that there are no more loose parts but 1 big video file. (it has to be 1 big video file first or vegas will crash while trying to make it 24 fps directly, using the blu ray 1920x1080 24p - 25mb's profile)

After that i start a new session, i put in the 1 big video file. then i use some color correction, gamma and saturation adjustment, and finally i convert it to blu ray 1920x1080 24p - 25mb's profile, also in vegas.

There you have it 60i to 24p conversion. (the video was 29,97 fps when i recorded it)

Now, you will see an mpv and mpa track (when using blu ray profile encoding). I merge them with mpeg streamclip, just by adding the mpv file. (it loads some time, till the green bar is done) Audio is done automatically with the video file somehow. i merge them to ts or mpeg and then i am ready to play.
