For the past decade journalism has been going through one of the most significant periods of flux since the invention of television. Cultural commentators around the world have stated that journalism is experiencing a revolution and its future is uncertain. The Future of Journalism brought together a distinguished panel of journalists to discuss if in ten years’ time we will be a less informed, less privileged society, or if the future of journalism, whatever form it may take, will be more representative, inclusive and informative.
Panellists: Charlie Beckett (Director of Polis), Sarah Harltey (Local Launch Editor The Guardian), Andrew Pierce (Consultant Editor, Daily Mail), and Ian Hargreaves (Chair).
Session Partner: Cardiff University.
