The following is a snippet from the forthcoming documentary "On The Road To Salkehatchie" produced by On Tapp Productions and in association with SurvivingChild Media. Slated for full release winter 2014, the documentary follows the remarkable story of the South Carolina-based camp "Salkehatchie". Founded in 1978, the campers, usually from well-off families, take a week out of their summers and repair homes in the poverty stricken districts around the state. While the roofs and walls of these homes may be made new by the end of camp, the documentary brings to light the true reformation that occurs within the spirits of all those involved, a reformation that changes the rest of their lives.

Jack Cooler is a retired war veteran, married to a bed-ridden wife, and in this short snippet he details the true blessing that Salkehatchie has become to him and others like him.
