The world’s biggest cliff diving competition has taken place in Azores, Portugal. And the results are spectacular.
Known as the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, divers had to leap from a platform at a height of 27 meters into the ocean. 29-year-old American Steven LoBue grabbed victory in a closely fought contest with this dive in front of two-thousand spectators who watched from boats and ships. And Colombia’s Orlando Duque was a close second with this effort. The divers will now take a break, before the series resumes on September 20 in Bilbao, Spain.
