Craig, do you remember if you had camera set on manual or an auto exposure mode. Just wondering how you got exposure to fade in so nicely. Aperture priority would have ruined the initial darkness I would think (plus flickering), and if manual exposure, how did you figure the shutter/f-stop/iso combo? Nice sunrise!

Everything was manual. I basically woke up a little before sunrise was projected and set everything so the beginning was dark and just let it go hoping it would work. I did the same on this vimeo.com/6160651 where I tried to wake up everyday in the month of April to capture the sunrises
