That's a nice pan right there. Longest pan I've seen yet. Do you hear the music that birds are making? Wonderful.

    Thanks dude :)
It's a 180 pan with a short stop. Am experimenting with stop(s) in the pan and see if that's better than a long boring one.

The birds... yes, one seems to be stuck on a same song.
Don't these birds know more than one song?
    heh

    Thanks man.
Am working on the #5 now and it's like, damn, I don't wanna edit anything out!

The editing process is very painfull :)
How to make 90 minute footage to be 5-10 minues long.

Nice. Cool reflections, like a horizontal vegetal Rorschach test! Not 100% convinced by the pan though. What's the rush? Difficult to keep it really smooth also, unless you had it motorized I guess. Anyway, I personally prefer it when it's not panning, and I really like the most abstract part of the shore, toward the middle or the shot. I could stop there. Take it easy, kruzer, and breathe deeply :-) You live anywhere near this gorgeous place?
  • kruzer 2 months ago
Yup, I live about 5 minutes from this place.

Yeah, I was doing the pan and that's exactly popped into mind... Rorschach images.
::: in the middle pause, I think those were aliens with klingons, drinking beer :::

I agree on panning is not the best thing.
Actually I don't have many panned footage, because I don't really like it that much.
However, I had to do this one... it was sooo cool with all the colors and water.

I should have the 'real' #5 ready in about a week. Editing is not easy...by taking out loads of good footage! :)
As is, it will be kinda long relaxing video. It's not for everyone. Some people can't sit still and enjoy such beauty even if they were there in person.
Everytime you see the clip, there are new things you'll notice.

So get ready for a long movie.
I may make a short version for impatient people :)
And a long one who really appreciate nature.

Beautiful. What a relaxing video. It's exactly what I needed to watch since right at this moment I'm sitting in a cubicle in front of my workstation.
