seriously? is that single spoked? how does it ride?
  • Tynan 3 years ago
Fine, like any other deep(ish) section wheel, it is a liitle stiffer than some (presumably this design requires that ?) but not so harsh that it is a problem.

How do you pump the tire, there is no valve sticking out of the rim?
  • Tynan 3 years ago
The same way you would pump a Spinergy or Hed3 (both also have no valve sticking out of the rim) - it is recessed into the top of the blade.

And when the wheel needs trueing you just make another?
Seriously, I think that it is more probable to damage that rim than make it untrue.

"And when the wheel needs trueing you just make another?"

    Yep! The same as HED, Aerospoke, Mavic, Lew . . . . etc etc . . .

But carbon wheels tend not to go out of true very much, and if they do you can 'bake' them to true them - basically they go into an oven for a while and the heat pulls them back towards their original shape.
