Short film made for a university project in my second year. The brief was to create something with a tracking element, so I decided to write a short story that would include a 3d element that could be tracked and this is what I came up with. An overly complicated mess for the project that it was intended for. I'm not greatly happy with the result but I guess it'l bring some sort of enjoyment to people.
The narration was kind of an afterthought but I dunno it it works or not.
The story basically follows a man and his downfall in one day. He cheats on his girlfriend and she leaves him. That's where the short begins.
The 3d isn't too great, the second time I have ever touched 3d and i didn't do Image based lighting so it was a shit load of colour correction and it still doesn't look brilliant. If I went back to it I'd mask each window of the 3d objects and darken them for a start.
Everything filmed by myself with Canon HV30 with Jag35mm Adapter and Canon 1.8 50mm lens. Everything else filmed by Jadon with Canon 500D. Used Rode Video Mic for sound. Music was created by myself apart from the ending credits.
