This is a brief introduction to our "Moving Back into the Neighborhood" event held in partnership with Presbyterian Global Fellowship, March 2010 in Illinois.

MBiN workshops introduce the theological frameworks and practical steps that local congregations can take to become local missionaries. What are the habits and practices that communities of faith take as they become mission-shaped people of God in the very particular towns, cities and rural areas in which they live? What are the stories that help us begin to imagine what a missional community looks like?

Local MBiN events help answer these questions, create networks among local church leaders and members, provide practical steps and begin to shape a missional imagination among participants.
