Fixed Unknowns, an exhibition of the works of three mid-career artists at Teymour Grahne Gallery, New York, focuses on three different interpretation of geometric abstract art, inspired by textiles and Persian carpets. Shirana Shahbazi and Kamrooz Aram are Iranian-born, whereas Hanna Whitaker is American. The three artists live in Brooklyn and work in New York. The exhibition is part of an on-going research project of a curatorial couple, Ava Ansari and Molly Kleiman, who, in an interview with VOA Persian TV's Behnam Nateghi, say that similarities and differences, attracted them to these particular three artists.
