In this webcast, we explore how SA Forum based middleware can deliver service available systems and what considerations go into creating such a system.

There are three main objectives that we hope you will achieve from this webcast:
• Understand where the SA Forum specifications can successfully impact a system design and how they can complement areas where other mechanisms might be used
• Lay out the requirements that may impact and the overall system, describing some of the tradeoffs that might need to be considered
• And finally, we want to use a practical example to illustrate these points

To do that, we have opted to use a Base Station Controller, primarily because it incorporates all the main aspects that affect a service available system.
