I will never look at my commute as long again ... EVER! LOL!!! I loved it! Great story, loved the filming and direction. Sweet! I can't believe this was done on a Canon 7D, wow! That thing is amazing!

  • This is was simply brilliant. Great choice of cast.
Loved the music, and the whole concept.
This is has immense depth and quality built in!
    Well Done Christopher.

  • did not like that he made eye contact with viewer. it seemed as the narrative went from third story to first story.

i did enjoy the detour to the mountain that was brilliant.

also the desk was pretty wimpy for someone who has coffee brought to them.

other than that keep up the amazing work

I am NOT a filmmaker.. but like everyone, has an opinion. Hope you don't mind me sharing mine with you. First, congratulations! This is a really beautiful piece. Just gorgeous! When it was sent to me, the caption said that your character was 'life-inspiring'.. and I guess it made me want him to do more than just go to a desk job. When I saw you take him up a mountain.. it made me think of the stories growing up.. where my parents had to walk 5 miles, up hill, each way to school.. LOL! I guess I was hoping that the story would end with him being a teacher... and that it was some sort of PSA about the importance of teaching.. what a dedicated field it is. THAT would have made him awe-inspiring. Thank you for sharing your work.

    Hi Christopher,
nice film. Which lens did you use for it, esp which f-stop for the more shallow depth of field shots?
