A turnaround render of my first edge modeling work, based off of concept art i designed. The Gun itself was modeled in Autodesk 3D Studio max, and composited in after effects to give the wipe effect in transition. I really enjoyed this model as it was my first time translating a concept from paper, into 3D.
Texturing was also fun, i practiced unwrapping UVs to paint my own texture in photoshop, then combined them with mental ray settings to allow the final product to have a clean shine.
