‘Low Street’ (2004) was directed and co-produced by Petch. Low Street appeared in the Raindance, Foyle, LA and Soho Rushes Film Festivals where Petch was nominated best newcomer. Starring Denis Lavant ('A Very Long Engagement', 'The Lovers on The Bridge') and Patrick Baladi ('Bodies', 'The Office') the film’s cast of two, set in two locations were a deliberate challenge for Petch who wrote the script. The film was described as ‘beautifully directed’ by UK’s Campaign Screen magazine. The films themes of redemption, religious undertones are set in a style and palate of one of Petch’s favourite painter’s Hopper.
