I want to find this in France. My drawing level is the same as when I was 5.

A very thorough review! Makes me want to search for the original!

Incidentally, I learned how to draw from a book titled "How To Draw" (not very creative, I know). It employed the same principles -- learn to draw basic shapes and you can draw anything. Of course, I can remember drawing people that had triangular-shaped heads as a result...

I wish I could go back in time and give that book to myself when I was a kid

After doing some more research I realized I had the "Purple Book" as a kid. I used to fucking love that book!

So, in a way, you did go back in time and give the book to yourself, only using research instead of a time machine.

I also like the meta-review where you sort of review your review using the subtitles :)

I wish I could draw. I would screw up the basic shapes, probably.

We need to get this to Little Brown, don't you think?
  •

I dunno Julie. I wonder if Little Brown is "little" anymore, or if it's a big corporation with lots of layers and stuff. *shrug*

Wow! Im too young to have had this book, and i don't know if it was avaliable in the UK. But i really wish i had it.
It's strange. Even though i know i didnt have this book i feel really nostalgic...i really want to find old books from my past now.
