Ultra sports is more popular then ever. One of the main 24 hour road races is the Self-Transcendence 12+24 hour race in Basel, Switzerland, organized by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team. On May 3/4, 2008 the Race celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a new edition.
