My first attempt at making a video using a Sony HDR3-HC3 Handycam back in 2006. The video was entirely made on an Apple G5 using Final Cut Pro and Shake.

As my first attempt at video making, I thought I'd make a music video of an old song which I wrote called 'All By Myself' (not to be confused with Eric Carmen's classic of the same name). It was a 0 budget project, so all the footage was shot at or near my home and office or in hotels where I stayed in when I was traveling for work around China, with everything more or less improvised, lighting, props etc. Since I had no previous experience in video shooting or editing, it took me a long time to make this, around 3 months (on and off) for the shooting. It took me another 3 months to edit the video (on and off) as I was learning how to use FCP and Shake at the same time. Hopefully my next attempt would be a lot better than this one. ;)
