The Rain Machine
Installation of the "dripdrop" animation I recently finished at RedLine gallery here in Denver, for their recent "Second Degree of Separation" show.
Everything is run mechanically. As one turns the handle, an edited-down, Super-8 print of the film is run through a film viewer on a loop and a diy music box kit plays the song.

the music box must be very special and not your typical "multimedia in a gallery" type thing. I get this real retro vibe, perhaps its the potted plants. I think this is what computers would would look like if they were made by a women's magazine circa 1973. Excellent work!
