In the spring of 2013 I hosted an event that featured artists from the New York City area. I found these artists through hanging out in parks, craigslist, and university connections. The purpose of the event, which in honor of the turning from winter was named "To Spring", was to create a positive space that connected the people to local talent in an affordable and culturally diverse space. I made certain to reach out to many of my communities to represent in the event the diversity that is a part of my life, and a vital part to New York City. There were over 200 people in attendance over the evening representing over 35 countries. The artists and guests featured in the video are only a few from that evening.
