SO METAL!!!
not really, it's just more fun that way. i actually really dig old counterpoint stuff. and Dethklok was just too metal to refuse.
in case you wanted to know, it's XII from the J. Weissenborn bassoon method book.
i completely recommend this book for bass players. it's really well paced and everything sounds musical by itself.
