7 Piniciples of Leadership Through Philippians

“Create Carefully”

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.14 Do everything without complaining and arguing, 15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. 16 Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless. 17 But I will rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God,[a] just like your faithful service is an offering to God. And I want all of you to share that joy. 18 Yes, you should rejoice, and I will share your joy. – Philippians 2:13-18 (NLT)
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth – Genesis 1:1 (NLT)
****WE ARE CREATIVE BEINGS CREATED TO RECREATE

Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth,[b] and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” – GENESIS 1:26 (NLT)

For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) – Romans 5:17 (NKJV)

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. – Joshua 1:8 (NKJV)

Three Principles of Creativity

1. CREATIVITY CREATES CULTURE
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. – EPHESIANS 2:10 (NKJV)

HOW DO WE CREATE:
A. By our Hands – PROSPERITY
B. By our Feet – TERRITORY
C. By Our Words – FORMALITY
D. By our Posture - HUMILITY

2. CULTURE CREATES CAPACITY
They went to the olive grove called Gethsemane, and Jesus said, “Sit here while I go and pray.” 33 He took Peter, James, and John with him, and he became deeply troubled and distressed. 34 He told them, “My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”35 He went on a little farther and fell to the ground. He prayed that, if it were possible, the awful hour awaiting him might pass him by. 36 “Abba, Father,”[a] he cried out, “everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”37 Then he returned and found the disciples asleep. He said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Couldn’t you watch with me even one hour? 38 Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.” – Mark 14:32-38 (NLT)

Seven ways we Sabotage Capacity and Success
1. Egotism
2. Life Mismanagement
3. Bad Habits
4. Indulgence
5. Broken Relationships
6. Isolation
7. Self Sabotage

3. CAPACITY CREATES OPPORTUNITY
But you know how Timothy has proved himself. Like a son with his father, he has served with me in preaching the Good News. 23 I hope to send him to you just as soon as I find out what is going to happen to me here. – Philippians 2:22-23 (NLT)
