A few paraglider pilots launched at the Pleasant Valley glider park located in northern Peoria, AZ. Mo Sheldon was putting the new Fly Products 130 Max to work and I flew north with Bill Rowe to capture some footage near Lake Pleasant. On the way back from the lake, I was able to share the sky with a beautiful Blue Heron making its way south. What an amazing time we live in where we can explore the sky and terrain with such freedom and precision. May the spirit of Icarus live on!

Thanks, we are very lucky out here to have sooooo many flyable days and many different terrain choices. We'll be exploring some sites up north this summer and I hope to get some neat footage.

how far can you go before you run out of gas?

Depends on the glider and motor unit as well as pilot efficiency. But generally, full tanks and an intermediate wing will enable 3.5 to 4 hours. It's easy to do cross country flights of 40+ miles with 2-2.5 gallons of fuel.
