The Medina River bends around the historic Texas town of Castroville. An old mill dam creates a pleasant small oxbow lake to float a small boat, canoe or kayak. This video was taken in the early spring when the many bald cypress trees along the bank start to leaf out.
Castroville, Texas is located 20 miles west of San Antonio on HiWay 90.
