Stopmotion film that I created for SNASK while interning with them in Stockholm.

I wrote, shot and edited the film myself without the use of special effects or stopmotion software.

There are 1846 photos, and it took just under 4 days to shoot.

  • John Gottschalk 1 year ago
This is pretty awesome, so 1846 frames for 78 seconds, that makes 24 f/s? Is that a lot or a little for a stop-motion animation?
  • John Gottschalk 1 year ago
Also did you work in reverse on certain segments, like the boxes appearing, did you make the box and then cut away from it, and then play the pictures in reverse?
  • Mike Crozier 1 year ago
Thanks. This is my first real stopmotion attempt, and so the frame rate varies through out the film, its not a consistant 24 f/s, but the average target I guess for stopmotion films is 25 f/s.
And yes a lot of the film is made in reverse then played the way it looks now.

Maybe needs more duration during the content portion, lots of build up to such a short payoff. I like that the GUTS of the tv are seen, although just box inside box inside box?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery-You are the originator of this idea and you did it really well-I just saw the "coffee time" copy of your work. I give you credit for the concept and Tv images were really funny!!
