Abbie Barrett "Say I Am"
Boston area singer songwriter came in on the morning of May the ninth. Abbie has a lot of singing experience in her background as a background singer for other artists and now strikes her own path with a recent 4 song-ger EP .
She stopped in with veteran Boston area session guitarist Steve Levy. This is what she left the listening audience with, spare guitars no effects Abbie's guitar mic w a Shure 57 & another 57 on an amp Steve ran his guitar out through to the mic instead of a direct (Steve's request).
Although there was no drone happening my mind puts one hovering under the track like the drone of deep bass sitar strings, ( i don't know can you "hear me" on that?)
Abbie Barrett is working on a yet untitled full length CD out sometime in the near future check her @ AbbieBarrett.com I hope you can not only catch some of her singing but man the woman can whistle better than most people and do it on the beat & in key!
Sound is Sound Board out camera sound deleted.

Previous Week
(it may well be my connection or the compression, but I wonder if sound and vision are fully synchronous)
when I got near the end it was definitely off
so I split the difference, sorry 'bout that .
I need to learn some nudge technique on
that score for future clips
some of the illusion of "being off the strum" of her hand too.
I was reassured then, untill Abbie sung the word "but".
Thank you, nevertheless, for sharing these vids. I find great pleasure in watching them.
