I wanted to see how much noise there were in the different ISO settings on the Canon EOS 7D. It proved to be quite interesting. It's obvious where the sensor in the camera works best after seeing this test.
For this test I shot the camera with different settings and filtered the signal to make the noise visible.
What I found to be funny is that the camera is just as noisy at 100 as is it at ISO 640 and that ISO 2500 is cleaner than ISO 2000.
The most clean image is at ISO 160.
