In February 2010, the British Council held a competition asking schoolchildren taking part in their Connecting Classrooms programme to make a play using 100 words of a language different to their own. Entries were received from around the world and the winners got the opportunity to come to London and work together on plays using three different languages.
These photos are of the winners from Bangladesh, Algeria and Cornwall and Sunderland in the UK workign together to create a theatre performance at contemporary dance centre Laban in London, in just two days.
