Thank you
It´s filmed with a Canon 7D and 17-40 and 300mm 2.8
the first shot of that waterfall made it look like it was coming out of nowhere. And the lava or magma (whichever it is) is so spectacular it doesn't even look real.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers.
It brings back memoreies when I was in/on Iceland :)
really coll/warm movie
How close did you guys get?
and was it Hekla in the far distance when you where in the car?
best AVP
I can't wait to see the final movie.
Very well done.
Quite a nice montage of an eruption, something most people don't get a chance to see.
I really appreciate that about this type of work, taking the hard way to get footage so others can enjoy the awesomeness of nature. Great editing and beautiful cinematography.
How long where you up there to get those shots?
It was a hard an crazy expedition. 7h hiking mostly on the ice, and 3h shooting up there with -15º
But it was worth well. Best experience of my life, so far.
I did the same hiking last summer but i only managed to reach the first bridge(3,5h)..unfortunately it was too foggy to continue to the glacier so i returned back to Skogar.Maybe some other time i'll be luckier...
thanks for sharing this video, it brings back memories.
best regards
I thought to go back in that bridge too, when somebody told me was on half of the way, in winter is full of ice even before that bridge, quite difficult to hike, fortunately I managed to still walking, it was amazing.
