The Balcones Burner Bash is a graffiti art festival where local Austin artists are allowed to paint on rail cars and, for a change, not get arrested! In the world of graffiti, a tagged rail car is called a "burner".
Balcones Recycling, who created the event, invited me to film it so I went all out and brought my camBLOCK motion control rigs, including the prototype dolly.
With the interleaved shooting capability three shots were taken simultaneously, multiply this by two setups and two systems and those two DSLR cameras shot 12 motion timelapse shots combined.
Add some editing, a sprinkle of realtime footage, and original music by my friend James Neel and you've got a film.
