USMC Military Working Dog Handler and MP, Cpl Dustin Jerome Lee has Kennel dedicated in his honor at MCLB Albany- Albany, GA
Cpl Lee was stationed at MCLB Albany before being deployed to Iraq. Cpl Lee was killed in a Rocket Propelled Grenade attack. His K9 and partner Lex survived and now lives with Cpl Lee's family.
The USMC allowed Lex early retirement and Adoption to the Lee family on Dec21, 2007, the first in Marine Corps history.
