The 29th installment of the Scion CD Sampler series highlights Plant Music, a New York record label owned and operated by DJs Dominique Keegan and Stretch Armstrong. Thanks to a lot of love from artists and fans, Plant has been releasing records for over ten years. Enjoying initial success with the ground-breaking "The Sounds of Young New York" compilations, a harbinger of things to come, this series identified the new electronic and indie-dance scene of New York City. Since then, Plant has widened its focus with a roster of artists from various parts of Europe, Canada, Australia and the USA, finding itself all over the musical spectrum, including disco, house, techno, indie-dance, and pop.
