In 1992, Jumping Mouse Camp initiated the first of 6 river trips on the Colorado River through Grand Canyon for people with disabilities and special needs. This program was supported by the City of Phoenix, Parks and Rec department, Grand Canyon National Park, and several of the commercial river outfitters. It continues to this date as the “River of Dreams” project, sponsored by the commercial river outfitters. This was one of two documentaries done on the first trips.
