This is a comparing shot from my Canon HF100 with wide-angel lense "Canon WD-H37C". As I already said in another Post: "With a wide-angel lense the HD-format (16:9) definately grows up to what I would call a cinema-look'n'feel."
The WD-H37C Version is recommended for HF100 because it was optimized for HD. I also made the same shot with the WD-H37 which is not recommended for HF100. You can find it at my uploaded files, too.
