Hello. My name is YU. I am the character of David Oerter's diploma project at FH Salzburg (Austria).

STORY
The small sphere Yu lives in a world where she thinks that she lacks for nothing and that she has all freedoms. But this world is just fake as she finds out coincidentally. She is living in a golden cage. All experiments to break out of this world are unsuccessful. Through a ruse, however, she manages taking her live into her own hands and at the same time she risks continuing living her save secured life in the golden cage.
TECHNIQUE
Realized with a Nikon D90, the awesome software Dragon StopMotion and heaps of compositing in After Effects CS4.
